Shipping Costs on the Rise!

In every avenue of your life, I am sure you are noticing the effect that rising gas prices are having on your budget. Well, if you haven’t noticed yet, they are also having a profound effect on the cost of goods sold online as well. I have around 20 suppliers for the products I sell for my online stores and all of them have raised prices not just due to inflation, but due to shipping cost increases as well.
At one time or another, I allowed free shipping on all of my products, but in order to stay in business, that just can’t be done. I have worked the price of shipping into the retail cost. It must be done in order to survive the supplier price increases! Have you noticed this change? I think it’s still bound to get worse before it gets better. Fortunately, my sales are still on the rise even with the price increases, so I can’t complain too much. Either way though, make sure you keep up to date with supplier announcements and changes.
On a side note, you may or may not know that I’m on a diet. Who isn’t?
