Robots are now increasingly evolved as human beings. Like a robot, Robogirl alias Repliee R1, robot-like women, small children made the team from the department of the University of Robotic Osaka, Japan.
Sophisticated robots that have Silicon skin dozens of sensors embedded inside and motor that allows it to move and interact with their environment.
Seen from interface, this Robogirl can blink her eye and can move realistic effects. Robogirl also can interact properly like normal children.
“The most important, we know that people who interact with her (the robots - red.) Sometimes forget that they are talking with robots,” said Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro of Osaka University, as quoted detikINET from the Telegraph, on Thursday (9/10/2008 ).
According to the team Robogirl developers, this robot is the most realistic ever created by man.
Repliee R-1 is also designed to perform tasks to help disabled people or decrepit, such as passing goods.
Further, it is said, robots Repliee R-1 also remind people to little robots who performed by actor Haley Joel Osment in directed by Steven Spielberg film, AI: Artificial Intelligence.
