Google’s AdSense service now enter the gaming world. This application called ‘AdSense for Games’.
The application is still in beta, and allows companies to place ads - both video ads, image or text - in the beginning and end before and after the game started, or when the level of turnover.
About earning, advertisers can choose the cost of advertising based on per-Impression or per-click. Results of income from these ads will be shared between Google and game developer or game publisher.
Google seems to leer sector of the games have been to push up their income. As quoted from Reuters, Friday (10/10/2008), Google is currently working with several game maker Konami, and include Demand Media. Sprint Nextel and Sony Pictures reportedly intended to be one of the advertiser.
Although the advertising strategy through the game is not new, but the ad business through this game arouse enough. Currently, value of this business has reached USD 360 million and is expected to be go up to USD 865 million in the year 2012.
