The robot therapy

With the help of robots, some motor abilities of stroke patients can be restored again. That is the conclusion of a study that researched by the academics at the University of California, the United States.
The researchers are doing therapy with a stroke robot is controlled via a computer. Robots that have hands that can guide the hand of the patient to perform various exercises.
Of 15 stroke patients with an average age of 61 years involved in the research. Dilansir Press Association, Thursday (19/2/2009), since they are affected by stroke 10 years ago before get this treatment.
Patients are treated with the help of a robot with some patients who receive more intensive therapy and complex. One month after the therapy is in progress for two sunday, stroke patients have claimed that the development of the motor significantly.
According to Dr. Steven C. Cramer led the study, the robot therapy although this is still in early stages, is considered potential to treat stroke. But success also depends on how experienced a severe stroke patients.
The findings are presented in their own future events National Stroke Conference in San Diego, California.
